Her Excellency received on behalf of SOFF medical equipment and supplies and a cheque amounting to K24 Million Kwacha from People’s Republic of China through the Chinese Embassy in Malawi.  The donation was done on behalf of the 17 medical doctors in Malawi by His Excellency Liu Hong Yang, Chinese Ambassador to Malawi.

The medical equipment came at a critical time when our country is focusing on attaining universal health coverage with quality , equitable and affordable health care, as we move towards Malawi 2063.
